If you want a full breeze in your 1969-1970 Convertible Mustang without any hassle, reach over to your recently converted power windows thanks to the Power Window Kit from CJ Pony Parts! This kit comes with a master console switch plated in vintage-style chrome to match your interior. This kit also comes with new power regulators featuring AC Delco motors for the front and rear quarter panel windows, a labeled wiring harness for easy installation and sleek chrome-plated switches. It also includes a conduit to protect the wires from traveling through the doors and getting damaged.
Features and Benefits:
- Gear Plates Treated for Longer Teeth Life
- Bronze Oilite Thrust Bearings
- Regulators Made of 1018 Cold Roll Steel
- Chrome-Plated Switches
The regulators use the original glass channels and bolt directly into the original mounting holes with only small modifications to the door panels. They are manufactured here in the USA using 1018 cold roll steel with bronze Oilite thrust bearings at the pivot points. The gear plates are treated for longer teeth life as well. Each regulator has an AC Delco OEM motor to ensure the highest quality and performance over a longer service life.
Kit Includes:
- New Power Regulators (4)
- New AC Delco Power Window Motors (4)
- Chrome Vintage Ford Style Console Switch (1)
- Complete and Labeled Wiring Harness (1)
- Conduit (2)
This kit includes a chrome master console switch that controls all four windows. It’s styled to mimic the classic Ford look and comes pre-connected to the wiring harness for an easy installation. Though this switch is meant to be mounted on the console or dash, you can mount it just about anywhere you want. The complete wiring harness is labeled for correct positioning and fused to allow window operation without the engine running. The black wire is the ground and should be attached to clean metal to ensure a proper ground. The red/orange wire is the 12V hot feed.
Tech Tip: Original glue-in style door glass found in 1969 and some 1970 Mustangs may be too weak to handle the new power regulators; it is recommended to replace the old glue with new, stronger glue, or convert to 1970 bolt-in style door glass.
Please Note: We recommend using a kit with crank handle style switches so you are not left with a hole in your door panels where the factory regulator would come through.
