Power Window Kit With Chrome Switches Mustang Coupe/ Convertible 1969-1970

Tired of having to crank your Mustang’s windows up and down? Convert the front and back of your 1969-1970 Mustang with this Power Window Kit from CJ Pony Parts! This kit includes chrome switches to the power motor without taking away the vintage style of your interior. Alongside the custom chrome switches, is the new power regulator with authentic AC Delco motors. A labeled wiring harness eases the installation with a conduit to protect against damage.

The regulators use the original glass channels and bolt directly into the original mounting holes with only small modifications to the door panels. They are manufactured here in the USA using 1018 cold roll steel with bronze Oilite thrust bearings at the pivot points. The gear plates are treated for longer teeth life as well. The kit includes a master switch that controls all four windows and three smaller switches (one for each of the passenger windows). The switches come attached to the complete wiring harness, so installation is quick and easy once you find your mounting location and run the wires. The harness wires are labeled for correct positioning and are fused to allow window operation without the engine running. The black wire is the ground and should be attached to clean metal to ensure a proper ground. The red/orange wire is the 12V hot feed.

Please Note: Original glue-in style door glass found in 1969 and some 1970 Mustangs may be too weak to handle the new power regulators. It is recommended to replace the old glue with new, stronger glue, or to convert to 1970 bolt-in style door glass.

Tech Tip: We recommend using the crank handle style switches so you are not left with a hole in your door panels where the factory regulator would come through.
