Starting off with the Trunk Weatherstrip he made while still in high school for a shop teacher, today Scott Drake offers over 9,000 products making them the largest manufacturer of Mustang restoration parts around.
Currently based in Henderson, Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas, Scott Drake is expanding his restoration line to include late model Mustang parts under the Drake Muscle Cars name.
Today let's take a closer look at some of their products and the attention to detail Scott Drake puts into them. Today we're going to be installing a set of these Scott Drake seatbelts in our '67 Mustang Convertible. Seatbelts are available in all the original colors and will fit both the front and back of your '64 through '73 Mustang. All of their seatbelts feature a chrome vintage style buckle with the running horse emblem. All of the hardware needed for installation is also included. Our chrome buckles with pony emblems are a nice visual upgrade to the interior and look much better than our original faded seatbelts did.
In our case our factory hardware was in good shape, so we used that as well. Scott Drake does provide new anchors in case yours are damaged. Either way, installation should take no more than about 30 minutes.
