Manual Transmission Bellhousing Separator Plate for 1965-1973 Mustangs with a 289, 302 or 351 Engine.
This separator plate is designed to protect against flywheel or clutch breakage. The separator plate gets mounted between the block and flywheel blocking parts that might damage the block if the separator plate isn’t installed. No modifications are needed to install on 1965-1973 Mustang. This manual transmission separator plate also helps the alignment of the starter and transmission when installing on small block ford engines.
