Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low Profile, Excellent Design I purchased this clutch not knowing if it would fit, because the thigh between the old pressure plate was different. After stacking the throwout bearing on top, It measured-up. Installed and working excellent. Thanks Jasen, you know your stuff.

Would this fit into a 4 speed '67 289 4V straight in, or would I need any other part? Thanks for the help!

Asked by: 67fastbackspain
As long as the flywheel accepts a 10 inch clutch and the transmission has a 10 spline input shaft it will work.

Is the press plate for a 10” disk the same size as a 10.5 “? Is the PP mounting holes the same as for a 10.5”? I’ve got a King Cobra Kit behind my 289 in a 65 Mustang that’s vibrating bad. I was attempting a T5 conv. The T5 and it’s BH is out of a ‘92 GT.

Asked by: 65Gtfstbk
The pressure plate would be different. Are you using the correct flywheel for the year of the engine?
