This is a great clutch for cars with up to 350 rear wheel horsepower. It has great wear characteristics and a lighter pedal than most high performance clutches, so if you want a better than stock clutch with a stock feel than this is for you. The pressure plate is made from nodular iron, the clutch disc has a sprung hub for shock absorption and smooth operation, and is also made slightly thinner for quicker release.

Please Note: 2001 Mustang Owners must check the Trans code on their data tag to verify which transmission they have. If it says 6 this clutch kit will work. If it says K then this clutch kit will not work.

*Does not fit 1999 or 2001 Cobras.
*Some 1986-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0L Bellhousings will possibly need to have the area "trimmed" in between the bottom/center and clutch release lever hole. Ford had two foundries make their bellhousings and only one had this issue. This problem is most common on 1989-1990 bellhousings. The incorrect bellhousings had a raised "lip" that can cause contact/interference with the pressure plate. The area around the inside of the bellhousing needs to be trimmed approximately 8-10mm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing took some abuse it shouldnt have had to I put this clutch on my car when it only had minor boltons and it performed great after countless launches at the track and that was back in 2015. I then ended up building the engine and even added a supercharger. Car had over 420rwhp and this clutch took it. Probably 50+ passes at the track. This season I noticed some slight very outer peices of the clutch starting to separate. I could probably throw this thing back in beat on it for another season but the car will be making even more power so I am going to retire. A+++

I’m interested in this kit for my 94 cobra. Aluminum heads, mild cam, typical bolt ons. What Throwout bearing is in this kit? How does it compare to the FRPP one? The FRPP is what I typically use. Thank you.

It is not an FRPP throw out bearing, you would have to purchase the FRPP bearing separately.

This clutch is good up to 350 hp so you may want a heavier duty clutch. We offer this clutch cable conversion kit.

Hi I have a 1983 GT with a 1966 351 Windsor motor in it. Current transmission is a C-4 switching back to T-5 out of a 1985 GT. Other than a clutch kit what else would we need to change it back. I.E have original clutch pedal and flywheel from the 1985.

I am about to swap my 2001 3.8L/auto Trans (Convertible Mustang) for a 2004 4.6L/5 speed (GT Mustang)...I will be hanging a clutch on this project, is the 10.5 clutch kit and adjustable kit the way to go? Or Salvage one?

You will need an 11" clutch for that application. I would never recommend installing a used clutch, there is too much work involved in swapping out a clutch in order to try saving a little bit of money.
