CJ Classics Dual Bowl Master Cylinder For Manual Disc/Drum Brakes 1965-1973

While classic 1965-1966 Mustangs are incredibly fun to restore, drive, show off and race, the original braking system's design leaves a lot to be desired. It uses a single master cylinder to provide fluid pressure to all four wheels at the same time. So if a problem arises in any of the four brakes, hoses, lines or single master cylinder, all four brakes lose fluid pressure. This can be disastrous: you could lose your front and rear brakes, which means you won't be able to slow down and stop!

Fortunately, CJ Pony Parts carries this CJ Classics MC11378MM Dual Bowl Brake Master Cylinder, which will split your front and rear brakes. That way, if a problem develops in the front, your rear brakes will not be affected and vice versa. This Dual Bowl Brake Master Cylinder has a 1" bore and will fit on disc/drum applications. You can also use this as a direct-fit replacement for 1967-1973 Mustangs.

Please Note: You will need dual bowl conversion lines to install this cylinder on a 1965-1966 Mustang. This master cylinder is also available in an upgraded chrome finish (BMC85) from CJ's.
