Ford Performance Bellhousing for 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995 Mustangs with a 5.0 Engine and Tremec TKO500, TKO600 or 3550 Transmission.
If upgrading to a Tremec TKO500, TKO600 or 3550 transmission in your Mustang, this Bellhousing (M-6392-R58) is a must. Ford Performance makes it possible to mount a Tremec transmission to your small block Windsor engine.

Due to their unique bolt patterns, Tremec transmissions require this bellhousing for install. It will also fit 1965-1973 Mustangs with a Tremec TKO style transmission. This bellhousing will require a diaphragm style clutch, due to the compact size of the clutch. This bellhousing will only work with a 157 tooth flywheel.
Please Note: Although this can be used on 1994-1995 Mustangs, the design may cause you to experience clutch fork to exhaust clearance and/or shifter location issues. The Clutch fork on this bellhousing is positioned in the 9 o'clock position while the 1994-1995 Mustang is in the 7 o'clock position. Also, this bellhousing will NOT fit T-5 Transmissions.
