Whether your Fox body still runs the stock hood or a fiberglass unit like this one from Cervinis, one of the most important things in proper fitment is the correct hood bumpers. While most of us are familiar with the front adjustable bumpers, many times the fender to hood bumpers are forgotten about, which can make for a poor fitment.

We noticed our hood was sitting a little bit low on the sides and sure enough we only have one hood bumper currently installed. The front one's missing and the passenger side are gone altogether. We're going to put four new hood bumpers on, which should make the hood fit a lot nicer.

We're going to start by removing the one that's already installed. You simply remove by lifting up and pushing toward the back of the car. To install the new ones just put it through the round hole in the back and slide it up into place. Now we're going to check the fitment with our new bumpers installed. See how perfect our alignment now with our fender and our hood is just where it's supposed to be. Installation should only take you a couple of minutes and you'll be back on the road in no time.
