The Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower Brace is designed to be a suspension upgrade for 1986-1993 Convertible Mustangs with an EFI Engine. The Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower Brace is constructed from high quality Steel Tubing that is powder coated in a black finish. The Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower Brace is a bolt-on piece that will reduce front end chassis flex. Maximum Motorsports includes all the necessary mounting hardware for a quick and hassle-free installation.
The Maximum Motorsports K-member Brace is constructed from high strength steel that is configured in a web design to disperse the suspension load. Each mounting point on the K-Member Brace attaches through a structure tube. Once the Maximum Motorsports 4-Point K-Member Brace is fully constructed it is then powder coated in a black finish. The Maximum Motorsports K-Member Brace mounts to existing holes on stock K-Members.
The Maximum Motorsports weld-on subframe connectors improve handling and ride quality by reducing chassis flex. This helps to keep the forces caused by road irregularities in the suspension, rather than being absorbed by the flexing of the unibody. This results in a Mustang that will be much more dampened and controlled over rough roads, eliminating the shaking and shuddering that is characteristic of stock Mustangs. Maximum Motorsports subframe connectors include seat braces that attach to two of the four front seat mounting bolts. This prevents the chronic tearing of the Mustang's sheet metal floor pan at the rearward seat mounts.
