Unique to this design, the included roll bar stiffens your chassis with additional safety while offering removable swing-out door bars for an easy entrance into the cab. The DOM tubing features a 1-3/4-inch diameter with a 0.134-inch wall effectively maximizing the potential strength and breezing by the weaker and more common .120-inch wall with ease. The included mounting pads feature a contour-hugging 6-inch x 6-inch build and sandwich the unibody with backup plates for unmatched mounting quality. All of the necessary hardware is included, boasting a Grade 5 or higher rank for ultimate protection against corrosion and breakage.

Reinforcement plates are included to bolster the convertible chassis, welding-in directly behind the rear seat for strong structural support. Lowering and stowing your convertible top is recommended for an easy access point and interior protection while completing the welding process. The roll bar simply bolts into its final position and can be removed from the car as a complete unit. However, it’s important to note that the rear supports will need to be welded to the main hoop. Constructed of uncoated bare steel, this bar allows you to color match to the rest of your upgraded interior for a complete and show-ready aesthetic.

Additional Notes: 
- This roll bar does NOT conform to NHRA and NMRA rules.
- Roll bars in convertibles will not accommodate a light bar.
- Convertible tonneau covers will not fit after a roll bar installation.
- The Maximum Motorsports Roll Bar for Mustang convertibles does require welding to the floor pan. Someone who is a qualified "expert welder" is required for the installation of a convertible roll bar.
