This dipstick will fit 1965-1973 Mustangs with a 289 or 302 engine. A mounting bracket and bolt are included making this a bolt-on part. The dipstick tube presses into the timing cover just like the original. An o-ring is included to seal the tube and prevent any oil leaking.

Install this aftermarket dipstick and tube for a great upgrade over the factory unit. The body of the tube has a flexible braided construction with billet ends. A beautiful billet handle tops off the dipstick. Accurate measurement of engine oil is achieved with the E-Z read flexible inner dipstick.

It's going to be a direct replacement for the original dipstick. It has a flexible center section, and we use the factory bracket. The dipstick, when removed, has a O-ring and a seal for leaks.
