Pypes Performance Exhaust has made adding race-level performance to your classic Mustang’s exhaust system a viable option with its Crossmember-Back Hybrid Exhaust System with an X-Pipe and Mufflers. Constructed from 409 stainless steel and with 2.5” mandrel-bent pipes, your exhaust system will be able to deliver greater torque and horsepower while benefitting from increased engine airflow. Higher horsepower systems require more output than the stock 2.5” systems have to offer. With Pypes Performance Exhaust Hybrid exhaust system kit, you can enjoy optimal airflow and maintain access to the various components in the system without difficulty.

For Mustangs that are pushing 600-750 horsepower, the 3” hybrid design helps handle the needs of the exhaust system by releasing backpressure and scavenging the exhaust through the X-Pipe. This kit comes with all the required components to make upgrading your exhaust system a reality. The 2.5” OEM-style tailpipes provide the ideal fitment while the 3” hybrid design provides a boost in performance and air capacity.

With an option of three different mufflers, Pypes Performance Exhaust has catered their mufflers for all driving needs. For those with a racing heart, the Race Pro Mufflers utilize a perforated tube with insulation to provide faster cooling when building racetrack level heat. Enormous sound while accelerating but with a muted resonance while idle. The Street Pro muffler is a sweet balance between street and strip riding to give you a rich, performative sound when idle or accelerating. Finally, with mini sound-deflector chambers and an internal louvered tube, the Violator muffler gives exhaust flow like that of the Race Pro muffler, but with a more aggressive, guttural sound.

Additional Notes:
- This Exhaust Assembly will not fit 1965-1970 Mustangs with staggered shocks.
- Variations in headers may require modifications to the length and or angles of the intermediate pipes when connecting to the header collectors.
- Convertible owners with OEM body brace must run the system under brace or fabricate brace spacers for X-Pipe clearance.

Muffler Options:
- Race Pro: Subdued noise at idle but gets louder quickly with acceleration. Highest flowing option while remaining on the quiet end.
- Street Pro: Pure muscle car sound. Features a chambered design without packing, and works well with X-pipes and H-pipes.
- Violator: Straight-through design with zero packing for a loud, in-your-face start to every day.
