The Pypes 2-1/2" Crossmember-Back Exhaust System comes with a precision-machined X-Pipe and a dual muffler assembly of your choice. No matter which muffler option you select, though, you can be confident knowing that each option has been optimized for maximum exhaust flow on your 1965-1970 Convertible Mustang.

Customizing your classic Mustang with a configurable exhaust system is a rewarding experience. You'll appreciate the Race Pro mufflers if your Mustang demands track performance. The Race Pro features a perforated tube with insulation for racetrack heat in need of quick cooling. With a straight-through exhaust flow, the Race Pro produces a throaty sound at acceleration and a subdued one at idle.
The Street Pro muffler, on the other hand, is a street/strip combo with a rich sound at both idle and acceleration. Then, there's the Violator. This muffler features an internal louvered tube and mini sound-deflector chambers to deliver exhaust flow comparable to the Race Pro.
Additional Notes:
- This Exhaust Assembly will not fit 1965-1970 Mustangs with staggered shocks.
- Variations in headers may require modifications to the length and or angles of the intermediate pipes when connecting to the header collectors.
- This Exhaust Assembly will not fit 1965-1970 Mustang Coupe or Fastback.
Muffler Options:
- Turbo Pro: A full, rich tone, that fits muscle cars or muscle trucks, adding the right amount of rumble. Designed for long cruises without diminishing performance.
- Race Pro: Subdued noise at idle but gets louder quickly with acceleration. Highest flowing option while remaining on the quiet end.
- Street Pro: Pure muscle car sound. Features a chambered design without packing, and works well with X-pipes and H-pipes.
- Violator: Straight-through design with zero packing for a loud, in-your-face start to every day.
