Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality! I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the thermostat housing! It is not the same housing pictured in the description. It is of a lesser quality. I ordered the thermostat housing based on the photo on your website. My local auto parts store carries the same poor quality thermostat housing that you sold me! It even has a hairline crack on the water neck. Poor quality casting. The factory Balsey recommended to purchase with this thermostat housing or too short! The mounting flange on the housing is twice as thick as the factory thermostat housing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaked Junk, leaked couldn't stop leak, 46 letters is to long

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Bought this for my 67, needed a secondary port for allow for my temp sender/e-fan thermo switch. Worked great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from it fits but not perfectly I can understand that there are probably size differences between various intake manifolds so the outside dimensions of this thermostat housing does not mate perfectly with the contours of the intake manifold. That said, the bolt holes match up and so does the bypass hole so I see no reason why it won't work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad Okay fit but not as good as competing aluminum housing. Required trimming of felpro gasket. Would recommend this product especially if you need the threaded adapter in my case to run a 2nd water temp sender. If you dont need the threaded adapter you may wish to look for a better aluminum alternative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! After my radiator hose blew off my old thermostat housing and burned me, i needed a new one. The lip on this housing is very tall, no way the hose is moving off of this! Also is great to have another port for a temp sensor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Solution I used the intake manifold port for the stock idiot light sender, but wanted to run an Autometer gauge sender also. This housing accepted the additional sender perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fi for my application. I needed to move my temp sending into to accommodate a larger distributor. This thermostat house has a port for the sending unit allowing me to move it. Works great!
