This Brake Master Cylinder from Wilwood comes with the correct pushrod and a 7/8” bore that is available in 3 different finishes. This master cylinder is designed for manual and non-power brake Mustangs and includes the correct pushrod for the factory 1965-1973 brake pedal. They’re designed for mount flanges from 3.22” to 3.40”, which match the 65-73 factory manual/non-power brake master cylinder mount, and offer fluid outlet ports on both sides of the bore. The stroke is set at 1.10” with a volume ratio of 2:1 between the primary and secondary chambers. Machined from high-pressure die castings, this master cylinder weighs only 3 lbs., which saves 75% more than most cast iron OE type master cylinders.
Please Note: This brake master cylinder kit is compatible with Mustangs equipped with non-power/manual brakes. The 7/8” bore size will be too small to be used on power brake systems.
Please Note: If you are replacing a factory style master cylinder, additional plumbing lines and fittings may be required for correct installation.
