Door Latch Striker Spacer for 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993 Mustangs.

If your 1979-1993 Mustang's door isn't closing, it could be because of a misaligned door latch striker assembly. In the original 1979-1989 Mustangs, the striker spacer was constructed from metal, which tended to chip and damage the paint and didn't absorb the impact completely. Instead of replacing it with another metal one that may continue to cause damage, replace it with this direct-fit Door Latch Striker Spacer constructed from hard fiber, like those built by Ford after 1990.

Striker Spacer Features:
- Constructed from Hard Fiber Material
- OEM Style Replacement
- Absorbs Door Impact
- Used to Adjust the Striker
- Insulates the Impact better than the Metal Spacer
- Sold Individually
- Fits 1979-1993 Mustangs

This spacer is manufactured to directly replace your original metal or hard fiber spacer for better alignment and full function in your door latch assembly. It will insulate the impact of your door closing so the assembly won't absorb as much of the shock and be worn down over time. It's an OEM-style replacement that requires no modifications for installation and will adjust the striker out as soon as it's installed for proper latching. This spacer is sold individually (1), but two (2) are required per Mustang.

Please Note: Two Door Latch Striker Spacers are required per 1979-1993 Mustang.
