This Edelbrock (22755) Max Fire Ready to Run Distributor is a great way to upgrade your ignition system and is an ideal choice if you want to replace or upgrade from a points triggered distributor. It’ll come to you ready to run right out of the box and provides unrivaled voltage to the coil to ensure your engine performs at its best! This distributor has a centerless ground shaft that uses an upper sealed roller bearing with an extra-long lower bronze Oil-Lite bushing for smooth operation. Plus it has a high output magnetic pickup and large paddle wheel reluctor that delivers a strong trigger signal at high RPMs for maximum performance! Made of CNC-machined aluminum, this distributor also features O-ring grooves so you can use it in a fully machined engine block and its cap and rotor are molded in high-quality glass-filled polyester for added durability and carbon tracking resistance. Installation is easy thanks to the 3-wire hook-up and because you won’t need to run an external ignition control box! This distributor comes with a cap, rotor, retainer and a mechanical advance curve kit.
