Fuel Lines
Your F-100’s fuel lines, or fuel hoses, safely transport gas from the tank to the engine. One fuel line travels from the gas tank to the fuel pump; and another line carries the gas to either the carburetor or the fuel injectors before eventually entering the engine itself. All of these components must work together properly to keep your Ford F-100 running safely.
After years of wear and tear, fuel lines can deteriorate, potentially causing leaks. If you start sensing a distinct odor of gas, check on those fuel lines.
