You'll get a Motorcraft air filter element and all of the necessary mounting hardware when you order this air cleaner. This air cleaner lid installs on a short stud that's screwed into the center of your carburetor. The lid has a threaded boss on its underside and is spun into place to finish the installation job.

Tech Tip: After installing a new air cleaner, you should always lower the hood slowly to confirm that there is sufficient clearance visually. A minimum clearance of 3-3/4" is required from the top of the carburetor gasket area to the underside of the hood.
