Ford Racing Crankshaft Damper 50 oz Mustang 302 1981-1993

This High-Performance Billet Crankshaft Damper (M-6316-A50) from Ford Racing meets all SFI 18-1 specifications. The damper has a removable weight that allows use as a neutral balance unit for internally balanced crankshafts. Mustangs and Explorers built between 1994 and 2001 will require modification to use this damper.

Ford Racing increased overall functionality by adding laser-etched timing marks are on the passenger side at 11-o'clock and 2-o'clock, and the overall length is 3". This damper fits multiple applications thanks to three and four-bolt pulley mounting holes. Ford Racing finished this crankshaft damper with a beautiful, clear powder coat.

Tech Tip: When used on an engine with a single roller timing chain, Ford Racing spacer M8510B351 (.950") must be used for proper pulley alignment. When used on an engine with a double roller timing chain, Ford Racing spacer M8510D351 (.909") must be used.
