The Hooker Competition header design utilizes a long transition collector to reduce back pressure and increase exhaust flow. To ensure your new headers last for years to come they are constructed using lightweight yet sturdy 16-gauge tubing. The 5/16" machined flanges reinforced with welded O-ring seals yield the perfect sealing surface. To maintain metal strength and provide consistent tube diameter at radii while providing maximized performance, mandrel-bends are applied. The Darkside (Black) coating provides improved thermal resistance as compared to traditional silver ceramic making it highly recommended for supercharged or nitrous applications as well as for reduced under-hood temperatures. The easy installation process is completed using the included hardware.

Tech Tip: A Custom-Made Intermediate Pipe/H-pipe is required. Will fit Power Steering if you use the slave cylinder lowering bracket (P/N: SCB).

Please Note: The use of header wrap is not recommended as it can cause the header tubes to crack or rust due to excessive heat and moisture build-up.
