This kit focuses on upgrading your Mustang’s alternator to PA Performance’s 95 amp alternator, which will deliver more power to your classic car to add other modifications. This specific alternator achieves additional power and also triples the overall charging capacity at all RPM ranges. It produces 60 amps at idle while increasing efficiency and electric flow. This brand new alternator gets tested before being sent out and also comes with an internal voltage regulator and the correct 1V single groove pulley. If your Mustang uses engine accessories in the factory location, you’ll still be able to use the stock belt along with this alternator.

Even though the 1965-1973 Mustang has a stock alternator that is externally regulated, this kit’s powerful alternator can still be added due to the included alternator conversion kit. This conversion kit incorporates a new external regulator box that features the correct circuit while maintaining the stock wiring harness and its 3-wire (3G) regulator plug. You’ll also be able to keep your factory warning lights and ammeter.

This alternator upgrade kit is completely by a PA Performance 30” alternator 4-gauge power wire kit. This power wire kit will enhance the main power feed wiring from your Mustang’s alternator, since 65-73 Mustangs were obviously not originally designed to handle higher amp alternators. This kit comes with a large and flexible stereo-grade wire, sealed 360 degree crimped terminals, a 200 amp in-line fuse and holder, protective wire loom with ties and mounting hardware.
