Designed for 289 and 302 small block engines, this Flame-Thrower HEI Distributor comes in a lightweight aluminum alloy housing with a high dielectric strength cap, brass terminals, and low resistance coil brush.

The Flame-Thrower HEI Distributor features a specially designed module and coil combination that allows the distributor to operate beyond 7500 RPM without misfiring! It will also eliminate erratic timing through the use of precision machined chromoly advance weights and center plate. The distributor provides 67% more energy and a 45% faster spark breakdown when compared to stock HEI distributors. You can also fine tune the advance curve with the additional advance springs!
