Oil is messy—there is no doubt about that. Not only is it messy, but it stains different parts in your classic, 1965-1973 Mustang. Replacing the original oil pan in your pony car can help freshen up the look of your engine compartment. CJ Pony Parts carries a great, Scott Drake C5ZZ-6675-R reproduction Unpainted Oil Pan for all 1965-1973 Mustangs with a 260, 289 or 302 V8 Engine. Product Reviews

Write a review
Scott Drake Oil Pan Unpainted 260/289/302 1965-1973 is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Different Size than Stock The description for this pan says that it's the "standard factory design," that it's a "direct-fit replacement" and that it "easily installs on any 1965-1973 Mustang" with the 260, 289, or 302. I disagree. This pan is an inch taller in the rear than the OEM Ford pan it replaced, so this replacement pan doesn't clear the steering linkage/drag link or the cross-member. I had my engine builder use this pan, so now to make it right, I have to change over to an old-stock pan and re-do the oil pump pickup. See the reviews of the blue painted version for more information.
