Canton Oil Pan Kit Rear Sump Deep 302 For Use Without Support Girdle 1979-1995

Product Description

Canton Rear Sump Deep Style Oil Pan Kit for use without Main Support Girdle on 1979-1995 302 Mustangs.

Canton's deep style oil pans move the extra oil capacity sump downward. This gives you more room for headers but less ground clearance. Deep style pans have a depth normally 1-2 inches greater then the t-pan style or stock oil pans. Features a 7 quart oil capacity. Has built in crank scraper.

Canton pickups are designed to ensure consistent oil flow to your engine. Features a .75" tube diameter.

-Canton rear sump deep style oil pan (OP12)
-Canton rear sump oil pan pick-up (OPP12)
-Canton dipstick & tube (DST1)

*Can also be used on 1965-1973 260/289/302 Mustangs using a Rod & Custom style rack & pinion conversion.

i am waiting for my opk3 oil pan kit to arrive. I see it comes with new dipstick and dipstick tube.Do i really need the new tube or can i use my chrome one on my 302 with the new pan and use new dipstick with old dipstick tube?? thanks

Asked by: chris111
The way the dipstick tube mounts to the pan you have to use the tube in the kit.

I have a 1968 302 engine I am putting into a stock 1940 Ford Coupe. The engine is stock with a front sump oil pan and it interferes with the stock cross member. Will this kit fit that engine? If not do you have one that does?

Asked by: Carmine
CJ part # OP40 is the only oil pan we have available for 1968s and the 302 engine. Whether that'll fit is for you to determine, since your install is so custom.
