This Pair of Street-Trac Traction Bars (6473TB-L) made by Classic Performance Products are constructed from 1” 0.156-wall 4130 with 3/16” laser-cut bent-steel mounts. They also feature self-lubricating plastic D-type bushings and 3/4" rod ends. If your Mustang features a forward-slanted approach angle, then CPP has got you covered! The front mount has additional ground clearance in this case, so if your Mustang does hit an obstacle on the road, the angle approach will act as a skid plate to help the car lift itself over the obstacle.

These traction bars (6473TB-L) will help to reduce stress on the top of the leaf spring because the portion of the linkage that contacts the spring is a wider flat surface. Pivot positions are relocated to optimize weight transfer while reducing the spring load. Please note that this pair of traction bars are intended for use on Mustangs with stock rear end applications with 2” or 3” lowering blocks.
