This Engine Mount Kit (DSE060420) from Detroit Speed is design and developed to allow 1965-1970 Mustang owners to perform a 4.6L or 5.0L coyote engine swap in their classic pony equipped with a Detroit Speed Aluma-Frame Front Suspension Kit. This all-inclusive kit comes with everything you need to complete the swap and upgrade your Mustang’s performance in one easy-to-purchase package.

Then included engine mounting brackets are manufactured from heavy-gauge steel and finished foo with a black powder coating. With an eye toward versatility, this kit includes adjustable engine mount isolators that can be set at the Stock Height, lower or higher then stock allowing for fine tuning. This kit will bolt directly onto the Aluma-Frame in your pony. To maintain stock engine positioning this engine mount kit will locate the crank center-line, engine mounting angle (3-degrees down in the rear measured from the crank center-line) and bellhousing mounting surface of your modular engine in the same position.

Please Note: The Aluma-Frame will need to be modified to clear the alternator on the Coyote engine application. Detroit Speed offers an alternator relocation bracket, (P/N: DSE060436) that will be required along with modifying the Aluma-Frame to fit the Coyote engine in your classic Mustang.

*The engine is offset by 1/4” to the passenger side to create clearance for mounting of the alternator.
