This Detroit Speed Engine Mount Kit is exactly what you need to flip to a 390, 427 or 428 FE Engine in your 1965-1970 Mustang with an Aluma-Frame Front Suspension Kit. This kit includes one driver side small block Ford engine mount bracket, one passenger side small block Ford engine mount bracket, two adjustable engine mount isolator assemblies and all the required mounting hardware.

These mounting brackets feature a powder coated black finish enhancing the heavy gauge steel construction. The adjustable engine mount isolators included in this kit can be set at the stock height, lower or higher then stock allowing for fine tuning of the height of the FE engine. Ensuring your engine is in the stock location, this FE Ford engine mounting kit will bolt directly to your new Detroit Speed Aluma-Frame. The engine angle should be set at 4 degrees down in the rear. This angle is referenced from the crankshaft centerline. Finally, this accompanying upgrade is easily installed.
