If you're looking to upgrade your vehicle's street and drag race performance, CJ Pony Parts offers this Torker-Plus Camshaft and Lifter Kit from Edelbrock. This kit works with all 289 and 302 engines and will greatly improve your RPM and torque.
The Torker-Plus Camshaft is designed to work with Edelbrock's Torker II Intake Manifolds to take your performance form 2500 to 6500 RPM. The kit (P/N: 5022) includes this camshaft and a set of hydraulic flat tappet lifters to keep your intake valve open longer and allow your engine to work faster. Edelbrock recommends this kit for high-performance stret and drag applications, not for trucks or towing applications because of the slightly rough idle.
