PROFORM Distributor HEI Pro Series 351W

This distributor 66983 includes a street/strip calibration with a built in high-power coil, a premium hi-dielectric cap with brass terminals and a low-saturation ignition module. It eliminates the stock-ford ballast resistor, resulting in more ignition voltage, which improves spark. The distributor is manufactured using high-quality billet aluminum and left with a natural finish. The cap comes in your choice red, blue or black with male plugs. Because this distributor utilizes a dependable high energy ignition (HEI) system, it can be installed by simply connecting the 12-volt hot wire to the distributor. There is also a tach hook-up option. This distributor creates more power and reduces plug fouling through the use of a higher voltage spark that permits for a wider spark plug gap.
