The Maximum Motorsports K-Member Kit (MMKM-2.1) is designed to be a performance upgrade over your factory stamped steel K-member. This K-member is 26% lighter than the factory K-Member found on your 1979-1995 Mustang and is constructed from high quality tubular steel. The motor mounts on the K-member are in the factory location but also include additional locations so you can move the engine rearward by 1”. Your Mustang’s front lower control arm mounts are shifted 0.75” straight forward increasing positive caster and moving the center of gravity slightly rearward for improved weight distribution. The stiff K-Member design will prevent flexing, which will improve steering response and handling. The Maximum Motorsports K-Member (MMKM-2.1) is proudly manufactured in the USA!
