This MSD 83541 Ready-To-Run Distributor with a Steel Gear for your 351W Engine truly lives up to its name. Literally ready-to-run straight out of the box, this distributor simply needs to be dropped into your engine bay and connected with three wires and your 351W engine is ready to fire up and run!

The MSD Distributor features an ignition module that produces a powerful inductive spark to improve combustion of the fuel mixture. Constructed from billet aluminum, this distributor housing is designed to be 5/8” smaller in diameter to accommodate induction setups and tight engine compartments. To trigger the high-voltage sparks, a maintenance-free magnetic pickup is included while a sealed ball bearing guides the oversized shaft.

MSD includes different advance springs and stop bushings so you can easily tune a curve to match your needs. Under the bolt down distributor cap and the MSD Race Rotor you’ll find accurate mechanical advance assembly. A vacuum advance canister will help increase economy on long drives. Once this MSD distributor is installed in your 351W engine you’ll have quicker starts, smoother idling and significantly increased performance.
