This Black Billet Aluminum Ready to Run Distributor with Steel Gear (835231) made by MSD takes the hard work out of engine performance thanks to the steel gear that is already installed and ready for hydraulic roller cams. Its polished steel shaft is QPQ coated and is guided by a sealed ball bearing. This, along with its advance plate and weights which are fine blanked from chrome moly steel and also QPQ coated, prevent high amounts of friction. Nylon pads also help to ensure smooth operation. This distributor (835231) does not require an MSD ignition control.

Please Note: A new MSD Coil is recommended for maximum voltage output to help you get the most from your high performance engine at higher RPMs.
