This (2900) complete EFI conversion kit by MSD is perfect for 1965-1985 Mustangs, 1966-1977 Broncos and 1957-1979 F100s with carbureted engines. MSD has a strong reputation for quality and performance when it comes to their products.

An EFI throttle body replaces your carburetor and a returnless fuel system is installed in place of your OEM fuel lines. The fuel system, which includes lines, a fuel filter and a fuel pump, is capable of supporting 100-525hp at the crank. Wiring is simple with only eight connections that have to be made. The system is controlled by the power module (with Wide Band O2 sensor) and handheld device. Initial setup takes about 5 minutes to ask a few basic questions about your specific engine. After the setup, the handheld device serves as a display so you can monitor your engine.

Improvements of converting from a carburetor to an electronic fuel injection setup are quite vast. You will experience improved performance after completing this conversion. Also, you can expect easier startups. Due to the modern nature of the EFI setup, there will less hassle, as no adjustments need to be made during temperature changes, as is the case for carbureted vehicles. Lastly, electronic fuel injection is much more reliable than a carbureted setup.
