Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only 1 inch of additional space on a 1994 GT I bought the seat extenders and installed them but it only provides 1 inch of additional space not the 3.5 inches as advertised. This due the floor seat belt rollers (see photo). This is not what CP Pony advertised. They had know warning on the product that it would not work on a 1994 mustang GT. I called them about it and they only offered that they would refund the money if I shipped them back. I chose not to ship them back because 1 inch was better than what I had, but they also did not choose to offer me any discount for a product that does not do what they claimed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what i needed! I purchased these for my 1982 Mustang. I am over 6 feet tall and needed a little more space in my little fox bodied Mustang. These extenders gave me the space I needed, and more. I actually have to move the seat a little forward now. I would say a seven foot person could fit in my car now. These extenders bolt right up. No issues at all. Makes the car much more comfortable for tall people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should have bought these years ago I'm 6' 5 and my Mustang never had enough room for my legs, ever since I got these new seat extenders it seems like I'm driving a completely different car. I can actually stretch my legs out all the way and enjoy the drive, best purchase ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seat Track I install a new seat track extenders in my 2004 Mustang GT and it now gives me lots of legs room. I did replace the bolts and nuts that came with the kits, to hard steel ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game changer in my 2000 Roush I could not buy this car until I knew these were available. At 6'5" the 99-04 Mustang drivers cabins prohibit me from driving - especially a manual transmission. This product adds some height which is not wonderful (especially with a helmet) but the 4 inches of rear travel is well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 6'6" and Love the extra Leg room I bought these Seat track extenders and installed them in my 2003 GT. I was skeptical at first because I didn't think the 4 extra inches would make that much difference. It has made a WORLD of difference!!! If you are 6' or taller this is a MUST HAVE item. I have 3 sons and we all have Mustangs. They ae in the process of ordering these for their rides. I just wish they made them of a 1966 Mustang. Then life would be perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great untill one side broke I've had these for probably close to a year. Gave me the extra room I needed. Got into the car today and heard a clicking. Turns out one of the welds broke. Not sure if there is a structural warranty but it is very disappointing. I'm 6'5 so I don't really wanna go back to how the seat sat before and shelling out another $50 doesn't sound great either.

I've seen some of the positive reviews on this product and wondering if any of them have a convertible.  I'm looking at a 1996 Convertible GT and wondering if this product will work for convertible.  Can anyone out there speak to this point?  Thanks,

Will part #STE pair work on a 1973 stock Ford Mustang frame? It only shows back to 1979 and I have a 1973 and need this type of extension. Any thing like that available for me?

About 1 yr ago i bought a pair of corbeau seats for a 97 cobra that are awesome! Will these work with the new seats? I had drilled the track on the OE seats to give a few more inches which was perfect, but the new seats put back to factory leg room

Asked by: Superdave25101
They should work but since you are using aftermarket seats there may be some modification needed.
