UPR Radio Antenna Shorty 14" Billet 1979-2009 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from size matters- on the fender! This 14 inch length is just the right size for the Mustang; not too stubby and not too swishy-fishin'- pole long! Does the radio frequency suffer? yes, a little, but with the top down, I'm enjoying the drive more than worrying about a radio station! This antenna has been on my Mustang since 2012, and it's still tight in its threads and looks like new!

Product Questions

I have just purchased this antenna-does the brass fitting at the end come off

Asked by: hockey17
No, it's a two-piece unit - the adapter and the antenna itself.

cannot remove stock antennae from 98 mustang gt to install screw down billet antennae in fender bracket assembly. Any suggestins?

Asked by: mustang pony98
It's simply a screw off/screw on project. Use an adjustable wrench (and a rag to protect the antenna base).
