Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product!!....but What a product!!! I am 5'8". I'm considered an average height person, however I don't like to press on the clutch via "toe ups". This extension gives me the freedom to use my legs to work the clutch pedal...a life saver! However, the re-installation of the existing clutch pedal cover is not an easy task by any means!!!! It took me two separate days to try different methods of re-installing. Finally, I had to use a tire removal/installation tool for a bicycle tire and just brute muscle strength to re-install it. This was the most dreadful thing about it, otherwise, everything is so perfect. I am so enjoying this pedal extension, and if I had to do it again, I would! BTW, CJ Pony Parts had the best price around. I think the ideal price point for this product would be $29.99

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome solution I had decided not to post a review until I had this part in the car and had used it for a little while. That being said. I love it, I love it, I love it. At first I thought how is this plastic extender going to hold up it doesn't look like they had longevity in mind, but I am surprisingly mistaken. I was glad to be wrong by the way! I am a perfectly petite woman of all of 5 foot 3. Clutching to the bump stop on the floor required I have the seat very close to the airbag. SCARY.... I had my Father guide me on installing it which was tricky until the plan renewed by placing the pedal pad cover on the extender first. :) I have driven it with the seat back in a further position which comforts me., very nicely if I say so myself. I have a 2009 GT, with a stage 2 race clutch and Hurst shortthrow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed Found I was too close to the steering wheel in able to get the clutch fully engaged. Was worried about the offset of the pedals if I used this, but found I dont even notice the difference. But was able to back the seat up to be more comfortable with the brake and gas, and not on top of the steering wheel. Hint - put the clutch petal in place on the extension before attaching to clutch lever

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money to save my back At 6' 2" you wouldn't think I wouldn't have a problem reaching the clutch pedal. But when I swapped my 2016 PB with power seats to a 2018 without, I could never get the perfect seat placement. Either too close to the dash, or too far away to fully engage without straining my back. The ACCELATEC Clutch Pedal Extension lets me sit back and get comfortable without grinding gears. One piece of advice: Go to Lowes or Home Depot and get one of their free paint can openers (the kind that looks like a bottle opener with a bent standard screwdriver on the end). Use this to get the pedal pad on and off and you won't need a pick, heat or dish soap to get it on (all in less than 5 min). In fact, if I were the manufacturer, I would buy these in bulk and throw them in for free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good buy I can now move my seat back for more comfort. It took bout 15 minutes to install and getting use to it. Able to push pedal to the floor. Easy way to install this is to let the rubber on pad to warm up, this put it on the extension then clamshell it onto the pedal itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from what a great investment! seems silly that such a small item could make a big difference, but it does. If you have a shorter inseam like I do, this will give you the chance to move the seat back a touch so your upper body is where you want it to be and you won't have to toe the clutch pedal in. worth every penny. took five minutes to install. don't overtighten the screws, but make sure they are snug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked for me! Car is 1994 Cobra. Allowed me to move the seat more rearward for a more comfortable driving position but still get the clutch pedal all the way to the floor. I'm 5'10". I did buy a new stock pedal pad as i figured it would be much more flexible for easier installation than the 24 year old one- and it was. I also took the hint from someone else to assemble the pad on the extension- without the screws- and spread the whole assembly over the clutch pedal. Then install the screws and tighten. A little effort, but not bad at all. PS- a paint can opener made a good "hook" tool for removing the old pad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should've been the first upgrade. At 5'9" the clutch travel was long in my opinion, now it's not, and I'm off the steering wheel in a more comfortable position. It will definitely be easier to use a heat gun. Especially putting it back on. It is a bit pricy for plastic, but well worth it! I used my pony points to bring the price down, so it wasn't too bad on price.
