Notched Differential Cross Pin for 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 Mustangs with an 8.8" rear end.
Running a higher gear on your Fox Body or SN95? Certain higher gear ratios require a notched pin for installation. This Notched Differential Cross Pin will do the trick, if a normal pin won't do!

The Notched Differential Cross Pin is notched in the center of the Cross Pin, to provide added clearance for higher Ratio Rear Differential Gears. The Notched Differential Cross Pin gets installed just like the factory differential cross pin.
The Notched Differential Cross Pin is designed to be installed on 8.8 Rear Ends that are using higher Gear Ratios. The Differential Cross Pin will hold the spider gears together. Over the years the differential cross pin can produce grooves, this will allow the spider gears to move causing issues with the rear differential.
