Tech Tip: Some Mustangs from 1999-2001 will either have a 6 or an 8-bolt crankshaft depending on which manufacturing plant they came from. You can easily tell which facility may have assembled your engine by looking at the 8th digit found in your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). An "X" is for Windsor which would have an 8-bolt crankshaft while a "W" is for Romeo and would have a 6-bolt crankshaft. Be sure to check your VIN or the old flywheel before ordering this product.
