Subframe connectors help put more power to the ground by reducing chassis flex. When stepping on the gas pedal, engine torque will be instantly transmitted to the rear end, rather than lost through flexing of the unibody. This is especially noticeable during drag race launches. These standard length subframe connectors are sold as a pair, so you will receive two (2) with your order. They extend from the front frame rails to the rear frame rails, tying your suspension together. Seat Brackets are included with these subframe connectors for additional stiffening. This pair will reduce the body flex of your Mustang.
*1996-1998 Mustang Cobras must notch the transmission crossmember at the frame rails so that the subframe connectors can sit flush on the frame rails.
