With the installation of aftermarket struts and springs, such as Ford Racing's 2005-2010 lowering springs and dampers, they will also fit the 2011-2014 V6, GT and Boss Mustangs.
Features and Benefits:
- Direct-Fit Replacement
- Simple Installation
- Significant Durometer Update
- Improved Handling
So if the original factory strut mounts have become worn and are making an irritating noise, this pair of upgraded Ford Racing Front Strut Mounts is a great choice for the ideal replacement part you need. That noise is a sign that the bushings have lost their support and structural integrity that is necessary to provide high-performance handling. The robust, sturdy bushings with these mounts possess a significantly increased durometer that considerably improves the handling and performance of all 2005-2010 V6 and GT Mustangs and all 2007 and up Shelby GT500s.

Underneath, the spring's going to ride on this rubber plate. The plate has ball bearings allowing for movement. Over time, they can dry out and cause some noise in your suspension. The GT500 version has much larger bearings, making it a heavy-duty upgrade for both a Mustang GT or a V6. If you're getting a clunking noise from the front end of your 2005 or newer Mustang, many times the strut mounts going to be culprit. If you're looking to upgrade your suspension with aftermarket struts and aftermarket springs, a set of heavy duty strut mounts is a must have.
