The Front Upper Coil Spring Insulator stops the coil spring from making contact with the K-Member, which prevents an undesirable noise. This is achieved through the premium-quality rubber construction of the coil spring insulator. This insulator also features a recessed ring. This ring centers the coil spring perfectly and holds it there.
