For the driver looking to use 17” or larger wheels with their Ford 9” early big bearing, this rear brake system is just for you (4262260B). Baer Brakes crafted their SS4+ system with performance in mind, utilizing powerful two-piece calipers. They won’t wear easily, as they house four hard anodized, aluminum pistons and use DOT-compliant seals to keep dust out. Even their exteriors are tough thanks to the 10mm cross bolts which maximize stiffness. Sleek in style to boot, they’re powder coated black and sport a machined logo that’s carefully hand painted.

Your purchase of this system also includes 13” pre-assembled rotors that feature a convenient two-piece design. Since their surfaces are drilled and slotted, you can expect excellent heat and gas dissipation for years to come with minimal pad glazing. You’ll find replacing the pad is easy, though, because the system uses a common variety whose replacements are sold under P/N: DR1-C. A high-quality Banksia parking brake assembly is included as well, placed within the billet backing plate to make operation last even longer.
