This Ford Performance Oil Filter (CM-M6731-FL1A) offers up to 50% more filtering capacity than standard filters. It also has a heavy-gauge steel base and canister for higher strength.

This filter features synthetic-polymer/cellulose-fiber blend filter media that offers up to 50% more filtering capacity than standard filters. The benefit to you has improved filtering efficiency and longer oil filter life when using either standard or synthetic motor oils. This filter has a high-quality silicone anti-drain back valve that keeps oil from escaping the filter when the engine is off, as well as a non-stick sealing gasket makes for easier installation and removal.
Please Note: This FL1A oil filter will fit all 1965-1995 engines except 1993-1995 Cobra, 1984-1986 SVO Turbo and 1994-1995 V6 engines.
