This K&N FL-1A fitment, canister-style oil filter was originally designed for race applications to handle higher oil pressures without overflowing. Its premium, filter media is made with resin-infused, cellulose material for maximum flow while preventing 99% of dangerous, foreign contaminants from getting into your engine. This oil filter features an anti-drain-back valve, which eliminates dry starts, preventing oil from draining back into the crankcase during engine shutdown. It has thicker canister walls than most other oil filters, providing extra strength and durability. The oil filter is equipped with a heavy-duty base plate with a double-rolled seal and a pre-lubed base seal. Its durable construction reduces the risk of damage from loose rocks and other fragments.

This K&N, direct-fit replacement oil filter is easily installed on most 1965-1995 Mustangs and all 1966-1977 Broncos. To install, simply remove your previous oil filter and replace it with your new, K&N oil filter. Removal is even easier. This oil filter includes a 1-inch, exposed nut, which is welded to the top of the oil canister for easy, wrench-off removal. A drilled hole on the hex nut allows for attachment of a safety wire.
