The boost timing master provides an excellent way to protect your engine. To achieve increased power, your turbo or blower forces the air/fuel mixture into the engine. As a result, the cylinder pressure inside the combustion chamber increases, which can lead to detonation and cause serious engine damage. Fortunately, the 6-BTM allows you to dial away detonation by retarding the timing in relation to the boost pressure.

Easily adjust the amount of timing retard with the supplied dash-mounted control knob! You can adjust from 0 degrees per pound of boost to 3 degrees per pound (up to a maximum of 15 degrees).
