This aluminum radiator has superior cooling characteristics and is lighter
than the M-8005-A 3 row copper/brass radiator it replaces. It is a direct
bolt-in to replace the production radiator in 1979-1993 Mustangs with
the following minor modifications.

Cut off the plastic "pins" on the top and bottom of the passenger
side tank.

Use the mounting hardware from your original radiator to re-install
the fan shroud. In some installations, the holes in the shroud or radiator
support may have to be elongated.

Re-shape the upper brackets to conform to the larger tanks. |
