BluePrint Engines Base-Dressed Front Sump 450-Horsepower Fuel-Injected Ford 408 C.I. Crate Engine.
This base dressed, front sump crate engine (BPF4089CTF) combines proven displacement and durability with modern EFI technology. Rated at 450 horsepower and 470 ft.-lbs. of torque, it uses a high-strength cast iron block, forged pistons, and I-beam rods for a reliable bottom end. The aluminum cylinder heads provide strong airflow, while the hydraulic roller cam delivers responsive throttle performance. A Holley Sniper 2 EFI system replaces a traditional carburetor, offering precise fuel control, improved drivability, and easier cold starts.
