This Performance High Torque Starter is designed to be a performance upgrade for 1965-1995 Mustangs with a 289, 302 and 351W Engine equipped with a 164 Tooth Flexplate/Flywheel. This premium starter is a high cranking output unit that easily mounts to any Small Block Ford Engine. The High Torque Starter has a shining Satin Aluminum Finish. The smaller starter will provide added clearance for larger headers and reduce hot starts. The smaller starter also doesn’t weigh as much as the factory starter on your Small Block Ford.
